Enliven Day Services Output Evaluation Summary Report

Evaluation Purpose

The evaluation aimed to assess the clients’ perceptions on service quality and delivery as well as the self-identified outcomes regarding their wellbeing and maximising their independence.

 

Background

Presbyterian Support Northern’s Service Evaluation Team invited all Day Service clients to complete an evaluation survey. This report summaries the key findings from the FY2022 evaluation survey.

 

Key Findings

A vast majority of respondents (86%) expressed positive feedback about the Enliven Day Services quality and delivery. Almost half of responses (48%) were "Strongly Agree" and 38% "Agree" which shows that the clients are very happy with the service. The overall agreement rate (86%) was very high.
The most helpful aspects of the service were 'Improving wellbeing', 'Engaging in a range of stimulating activities', 'Receiving respite helps carers and whanau', and 'Helpful and supportive staff'.
The key areas of improvement identified by respondents related to providing a wider range of activities, offering additional sessions and different times, improving the staff communication and skills and for some, provide more transport options.
